60 bucks for cupholder!
I've talked to my Honda dealer and they want 60 bucks for a new cupholder for my 94 prelude. Even worse is they want 120 or something for the sun visor. I'm going to have to try and locate this stuff at the junkyard, obviously. Why does the dealer charge such an outrageous amount for this stuff? I heard the OEM stereo was like over 500?
whats wrong with the cupholder? if it won't stay shut and your replacing it because of that i might be able to find the write-up i read once to fix it.
as far as the parts you can try http://www.slhondparts.com or http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com they are bothe dealers but the prices are ususlly cheaper then my local honda dealer.

Sweet, I'll check it out. I'm replacing the cupholder because the lid on mine shattered. There is a gap between the cupholder and the console where you can look down inbetween the two. If that makes any sense at all. It's not to attractive.
the write-up was geared directly towards preludes so i don't think it will be of any help to you. i can look for it though (bored at work). i'll post it if i find it.

Dealers will screw you on prices pretty much consistently. I remember needing a simple plastic cover for the shock tower access panel on my old turbo teg, and those bastards wanted like $30!!!
Anyways, check ebay, there are always some oem prelude parts for CHEAP.
