Need help with cluster swapping

has anyone in this forum ever swapped a 89 si in a 89 dx b4 if so please get back to me .....i can't get mine to work the check engine light stays on all the time the tach goes haywire when i turn the left signal on and the fuel and temp gauge doesn't work .....put yet when i have the dx one in everything is fine

yeah the tachs wont work with out wireing a few more things to it. I say things because i tried this with my friend about a year ago and forgot what the problem was.
