Default Cutting DRAG IC Piping to fit Precision 31.5"...??

I will be installing a custom turbo setup this weekend on a 99 Si and have a quick question. I will be running the InlinePro Ex. Mani followed by a Precision 5-bolt turbo. I will be using DRAG IC piping routed through a Precision 31.5x8x3.5" IC. Now, I know the piping will need to be cut due to the larger size of the IC in comparison w/ the DRAG IC, however, do you think I will need to bead the pipe ends going into the couplers at the end tanks of the IC? I will be running 10-11psi max boost. Or should I be fine at this boost level. I don't want to blow off the IC pipes. Thanks in advance.

I don't think it's going to hurt from the getting the pipe ends beaded. It's actually a good idea. I have the same setup. I'm looking to do that to it...or get better clamps. I had a drag kit running 10psi before..and the pipe always come loose....after a few WOT.

Now since the piping is aluminum, I assume a mig welder won't do the trick. Any suggestions? Thanks,

you can weld aluminum with a mig. Well, not very good looking but can be done, enought at least for a bead.

Thanks for the help. One last question. I noticed that the DRAG IC piping w/ silicone couplers is not the right size of the Precision end tank ports. In other words, the couplers that come w/ the DRAG piping kit are too small to mate w/ the IC ports. Any suggestions to mating the IC piping w/ Precision end tanks? (besides getting reducing couplers).
