bolt tightening sequence for oil pan

Default bolt tightening sequence for oil pan

i can see there is 4 bolts near transmision and i can see a backing bracket there.i think i remove to outer thus the trans bracket comes off.then after i unbolt and drop oil pan how do i put back together.i realize tightening seq is criss cross but how do i go about it.thanx

What car do you have? Even though the sequences from model to model shouldnt be much different....

Ive had mine off countless times, and the pan bolts and nuts are only torqued to like 7ftlbs so I doubt any warpage would happen. As long as you have a good gasket I'd tighten them whatever is easiest for you, but I'd recommend doing the "star" tightening of them.
