I have a stock GSR intake manifold in second gear it sounds like the butterfly valves are lose I think it could be because I did a little mod on the manifold so the valves stay open all the time. It increased horsepower but it makes a kinda suspicious noise. Can anyone help? maybe I will get it ported anyone with any experience with this speak up.

 

Take your intake manifold out, tear it apart and repair whatevers neccessary. If the noise persists then take it out again and install everything back to OEM.

 

wtf did you do to make them open , its super stupid to do that IF you car is pretty much stock

 

who said his car was stock. i hate how everyone jumps to conclusions and makes assumptions. his car is NOT stock and far from it.

 

Aside from the point that we know NOTHING about the mods to your car....why did you want to make them stay open ?
