what is the difference between the blue and black top dsm injectors? i just bought some black top injectors and just a little worried about the performance differences. HELP!

 

They'll both work fine, they were just out of different generations of DSM's.

 

i believe they are both 450cc . butt as cracka said it was out of different generations .

blue top = 1st gen
black top = 2nd gen

if the dsm blue tops came off of an automatic (since its a blue top it would have to be a 1st gen auto), then they are 380cc instead of 450cc...

but the blue tops off of mannual tsi/gsx's, and all black tops are 450cc

 

Blues all come out of manual first gens, if I remember correctly the auto one are pink or red.

 

All the blue top's I've seen have the 450 stamp on them.

 

Blue top first gen are 450s, NA 1st gen are pink autos may be also.

black is turbo 2nd gen 450cc, I have read on here they have a slightly improved spray pattern
