You get the pillowball mounts, different ride height adjust range and different spring rates.
Making the flex more aggressive.
EDIT:Spring rate on the DC5s(SS/Flex) are the same, different on the EP3s(SS/Flex)

Heres the deal, In my opinion the ss is plenty for the street. I owned them and they were more then stiff enough. Next to set the record straight, The flex is different from the ss in the fact that they have teflon coating on the threads and they have a more aggressively built shock, to my knowledge the spring rate is the same. They both have upper pillow ball mounts.

i'm trying to get the flex on the ep, but it seems like the only application they have is either for the rsx or 01 and up civics. in hopes my friend could still get me a good deal. is the flex full ride height adjustability? all the way down to? (in inches) dampers look aggressiveon the flex's

Question: I was all set on purchasing the Tein SS. But my boy told me to call this one shop and speak with them. So after speaking with them he is telling me to go more with the JIC FLA-1 or 2 rather than the tein because the tein's tend to rust or something. Are these JIC's better than the Teins or something. Someone please help me out here...

There was a guy that posted somewhere on here, or maybe it was clubrsx....about the really crappy Customer Service that he got from the JIC folks...he reported a problem with a threaded shock body that was stripped and would not lock down the other locking collar. So he had to install it broken to get the car home and then had to buy another after shipping his broken one back to JIC....He was very upset after that.....
BTW his parts were broken out of the box and they wouldn't do anything about it.
Get the Teins
