what do you think about overhaul parts. OEM vrs Aftermarket.

What parts should be OEM and which should be aftermarket and have same quility?

why overhaul? honda motors are so cheap these days you might as well just get another and drive it into the ground then get another. If you wanna build I would build for performance.

it will eventually get a turbo. plus we are getting a new cam shaft + gear, pistons, as well as everything else.

so whats your question then? are after market parts better than oem? If you plan to go turbo then you wouldent want to get aftermarket parts with stock profiles. you would want to go with parts designed for turbo. If you want to go with stock profiles but after market parts then go for it.

 

well just wonder wats best for one.

one person said that oem gaskets, and oem bearings, but if i plan to machine the engine then get aftermarket bearings..

wats better in certain areas? aftermarket or oem?
