Default Engine burning oil insanely

I did a search but nobody has the symptoms I do. 90 CRX hf stock motor, compression is 185-190 in all cylinders, it burns blueish smoke as soon as it starts up and continues when it is running, it has much smoke that comes out it is crazy, it looks like a chimney. I found a little bit of oil on all the spark plugs when I removed them. Any suggestions. Also the engine idles at 4000 rm and the ecu threw a code 14 (electronic air control valve) anybody have problems with this valve. Its not a huge deal if I cant use this motor cause I got another, but if anyone has had the same problem could you shoot me some ideas, Thanks

Well I thought maybe bad valves but would it burn that much oil , I mean it smokes so much you cant see when it is running. I am not sure , anybody else know?

well, you're definitely burning oil, that's for sure because of the blueish smoke. i'd say piston rings but you have great compression in all cylinders. i have to agree with the bad valves theory. Have a leak-down test performed to double check.

Whats wierd is that the engine never misses a beat. I will do a leak down test and see whats up, but shouldnt I have lower compression in at least on cylinder for the leak down to be accurate. I dont know, Ill mess with it and see what I come up with. Thanks
