Volk TE37s on backorder...second choice?
Hey guys, thanks for looking.
Since my other set of 4 te37's in GM are on backorder, what wheel has a strength as good, weight as light, and arent ugly as bum?
basically, if you were in my shoes, what wheels would be your second choice for your R

I went w/K1's... cheap, wide, light.
You sound you are looking for something a bit more 'spensive
SSR comp 15x7.5 would be my next choice or the Work RSZ-R

Rotas.... really cheap and extremely durable. Spend the extra $ on go fast parts/brakes/track days
what size? 15" or 16"
If 15", Real Racing R2... but, they might be hard to find.
If 16", MF10s... but now you can get Rota C10 (MF10 copies).
Or, if you have $, get custom 3piece forged HRE wheels. Drool...

well i agree on the mf10's i was looking into mf10L in white, but i have a feeling that the backorder on those probably isnt that much shorter.. what about volk ce28n? bascially, volks are my favorite wheel. and ill probably end up getting another set of the gunmetal in the long run anyway, i already have 2 extra's in bronze

That is what I was going to say. The Volk CE-28n, they are actually lighter than the TE37s. For me it is going to be the Mugen MF10's or the CE-28s. Heavily leaning towards the MF10s. As my last 4 Hondas all wore Mugen boots.

how bad do you need wheels? If they are the wheels you really just just wait. This way down the road you don't second guess yourself for getting the wrong wheels.
i'd get ssr comps (i own em
) or these http://www.dazzmotorsports.com/wheels_rac.asp
cpf tune r, they are bad ***, pretty much no one has them either. cp035r are another good choice

Did you put a deposit down already? If not then I say you look elsewhere, I was able to get a set a couple of months ago of TE37 in GM.
I'd wait for the TE's, they're nice wheels.

Dave at R&D has some very pimpy CE28N's in stock, 15x7 in a 5x114 bolt pattern in Bronze. Give him a call and tell him that I sent ya.

Yeah, exactly what I was thinking...
Gunmetal is more of my taste as well...
Lately I've been thinking of getting a set of mugen mf10s myself...
I would go with those if you are gonna get TE37s later on...

It's the fact that MF10L's only come in 4 x 100 bolt pattern that will be more of a problem
