Who's got a 2 stroke race bike?
well, as far as racebikes go, i know that Luke has an awesome TZ that hes been workin on. and Ivan has YSR50, theres also another guy on here that races a nsr50.
my bike isnt a race bike, but it looks like one. Maybe the ocassional trackday. I'm actually lookin for another bike i can dedicate to the track. maybe another NSR.

I know Mick Doohan has three NSR's, Kevin still has his 1992, Kenny has all sorts from 79-99. But if you really, really want a 2 stroke race bike 96 or above that wheelies in 4th and 5th then call 1-800-DREAMER and I am sure they'll be on it to help you out ASAP.
< who thinks people who want race bikes to boast about or use for advertising are dumb.

You want me to tell you how to contact Mick Doohan, Kevin Schwantz and Kenny Roberts?
If you have $50K then I can put you in touch with a Honda NSR500V, that should be enough. Thats the sort of money that's involved with 500GP bikes.

Having fun on a GP bike can be expensive, almost better to run a tuned road bike. Do you really need a race bike? VFR400/FZR400 are quick in the right hands and dont need half as much work. Or get a stock new 600 and throw an exhaust and commander at it. This will get you cheap speed. You are not racing so dont waste your cash on things that 'look' cool

i think you need to go to a local track day and check people's rides out, ask a lot of questions.
i'll be brutally honest here, you sound like a fool with a lot of money and just want to play.
please take the time to do the research before you buy a pile of parts and a bike you kill yourself on.
ok?

Here's a checklist for you:
1) Buy life insurance. (so the ones who give a **** about you can somehow benefit from your demise)
2) Buy a Hayabusa and slap a turbo on.
3) Give me all your money left over.
4) Kiss your @$$ goodbye when you come to a turn.

You contradict yourself. If you knew much about bikes, then you know racing is all rider. Attend some trackdays/schools first, then decide if you still want to pursue this path.
