has anybody changed the stock accord shifter to a short throw, 2001 preferably? i was at fasttrackmotors.com and it says something about needing an adaptor. someone fill me in?
errrr... you need to ascertain the objective here... i have never honestly heard of a complete conversion, although it may be plausible. however, as for a short shifter kit, yes, they are available... all they do is use an adapter that changes the shifter-linkage geometry to reduce the throw lenghth...

cable linked transmission as opposed to direct link like the civics and integras have...the directlinks are less notchy and have more feed back \ vibration from the tranny
