It's highly unlikely. But you can get one that's beat to crap, with high miles and/or salvage title for that amount.
The chart that azndg is referring to is in the NSX FAQ (answers to Frequently Asked Questions), which is located at http://www.nsxprime.com/FAQ/faq.htm Go there, click on Buy, Sell, and then on Pricing.

nsx-r? do you mean a 3.2L v6? cause the nsx-r's engine is the same as the t-tops and coupes.

According to Honda's official site, the NA2 NSX-R engine is slightly different than the regular 3.2L engine (high-precision blueprinting and balancing of the crankcase). Maybe good for a few more horses.
Halo, So... What NSX-R engine do you have, anyway? NA1 or NA2?
Since you have an engine (and the rest of the drivetrain?), just wait for a NSX with a bad engine to go up for sale. Better yet, post a want ad on NSX Prime stating your interest in clean NSX with bad engine. If you're patient, I think you can find one for a bit under $20K.

Nice. I've gotta ask: How do you know it's NSX-R?
Does the swap include the necessary electricals for the throttle-by-wire system (NSX prior to 95 had cable throttle)? How about ECU?
Good luck on the project.

I am from the B-series camp, so N series is all new..Being that my buddy and I pulled the motor from a rhd white NSX front clip that said R on it, I am pretty sure that it's an R

The engine in the NSX is C series, not N series.

Then change your attitude, no one is flaming you. Your talking to a few people that actually know something about the NSX's. I think what they were asking you were pertanant questions. You might be able to locate a NSX that is missing an engine it's going to be a tuff hunt though. You can buy used engines for the NSX, so if someone took care of their NSX more than likely they would just replace the motor. Try ERZ.
It's not going to be like locating a Integra or civic without an engine. Good luck with your search.

Yes, exactly. The thing to realize about the NSX is that it's not an Integra Type R. With the Integra Type R, people steal the car and remove the engine (because it's a direct swap for many other Honda models), so it's not too difficult to find a shell (car without drivetrain) for sale. With the NSX, it's the exact opposite; no one steals the drivetrain - so it's easy to find a used drivetrain for sale, from cars whose bodies were wrecked enough to total the car. But it's next to impossible to find a shell for sale that hasn't been wrecked.
Try ERZ but you can pretty much expect that they're selling only shells that are wrecked and not repaired. And remember, NSX body repair is extremely expensive; if the body were worth repairing, ERZ (or anyone else) would already have done so.

You might also try http://www.nsxprime.com in the for sale section. You might be able to locate a really high mileage NSX, for somewhere around your price range. Who knows the rest of the condition though. You may get lucky.
Did you get the rest of the drivetrain?

I think what he meant was the motor is not in the front of the car so how did you pull the motor from the front clip?

Mine is for sale for only $1500 higher than that! $25500 on autotrader. $2000 of the sale price is because of a brand new Alpine/JL Audio MP3 with a sub, as well as an Alpine alarm with keyless entry/windows/trunk etc.

You can find a complete description of his car here.
You wouldn't even need to do the engine swap, since his drivetrain is working fine...
