As many of you know I lost my dog rocky. Today I finally picked up a puppy. Honda-Tech has helped me through a tough time with the loss of rocky. (There's a link in my sig.) I just wanted to Thank everyone again for all the helpful comments. You guys were great. Anyway I picked up a Blue Neapolitan Mastiff Male puppy today, after doing a couple days worth of research. I've had two Rotweilers and though they've been great experiences, we wanted to try another breed. I think we've made a good choice. Thanks again.

new puppy ownership can be both fun and rewarding, but training them can be such a pain in the *** (especially the accidents on the carpet)
We had a rotweiller too, but when we moved, we gave her to my sister. I was allergic to her (developed long after we got her), and we got a miniature schnauzer last week.

Here is a pic of our schnauzer

Im really sorry to hear about buddy, it made me tear up alittle.

He will always be with you.

We lost our golden last year to cancer, it sucked so bad, the night before we were out playing like nothing was wrong and the next day my mom took him to be put down and didnt tell us till later that afternoon. It was a sad day.

Treat the new puppy like you did rocky, and he will love you forever.

Just recommend you watch your Schnauzer closely Wayne around children, we were getting house insurance the other day and without the company even knowing whether or not we owned dogs at all, they asked us if we owned "Schnauzer's." Guess some North America insurance companies have been receiving liability claims brought forth with regards to specifically Schnauzers and little children lately....just a heads up man...Most Schnauzers I've met, like my sister in-laws, are perfect house pets.....beautiful choice Wayne

Having said this we're Dachshund (aka: Weiner) People!!!!!! We have 2 of them
