Default mustang dyno

has anyone had experience using this?
and what kind of numbers did it put down?
i went to one and the numbers were alot lower than i would have liked, but they compaired my run to a obd1 h22 in an accord with stock accord mani and aftermarket exhaust and i had like 10whp on it, so i cant tell if i should be happy or not.....

i'm getting my car tuned on one. The numbers are supposed to be like 15-20% lower i think because there is resistance placed on your tires. Its a more road accurate way to tune, but the numbers come up lower. If you put your car on a dyno jet you'll get the high numbers that impress people

I use Mustang Dyno for my tuning. They normally read about 12hp lower than a Dynojet. However, Mustang Dyno's are more accurate and your getting the true HP numbers. Mustang Dyno's also will give you identical curves run after run. DynoJets tend to fluctuate by several HP when you do 3 or 4 runs back to back with no change. The Mustang dyno’s cost WAY more so most shops get the dynojet instead. If your local shop has one consider yourself lucky! They are great for sqeezen every last bit of HP out via tuning.

If all you care about is a big number then dynojet would be better

My prelude was 142max hp on a mustang dyno bone stock. (it's not stock anymore though)

my motor put down 150 on the mustang dyno with the timing way off(distributor was way off) and the timing belt was off a tooth. fixed the timing and adjusted the belt and made 176 on a dynojet. go figure.
