So i know i can use an ITR ram intake on my d16y8 manifold. The reason i am doing this is b/c the piping is a bit bigger, and the way it bends it will clear where i have my alarm set in my engine bay. I cant find many ITR intakes, will an RS/LS ram intake work as well? Do they have the same bends as the ITR?

 

im sure u can use the ls/rs intake. type r and ls/rs have pretty much the same intake. except in size where u can get a 3 in. for the type r

Come on i need some more advise. Are the d16y8 and b18b throttle bodys the same size? If they are it should fit right?

 

Yes. is correct. The Type R and the LS/RS/GS intakes will be the same except the ITR one will be a larger diameter.

The only ones you might have to modify to fit (or might not fit at all) will be the GSR ones. The intake manifold is different and the throttle body is physically set deeper down in the engine bay.
