Default New Mods, direct from the land of the rising sun... 56K sukit

After waiting a year (literally), but well worth the wait from the price i got, here is the latest addition. #319 will go under the knife in the next couple of weeks. And for all you Spoon Haters out there..I dont know how to build a balanced and blueprinted zero mile motor, with all brand new parts for the price I got this for...

Major thanks to Dave at R&D Motorsports, always easy to communicate with during this process and always called me back with updates, even if he didnt have one. Don't see customer service like that from too many companies....

Doesn't Spoon ship their engines with the yellow valve cover? If they don't, what are they reserved for - Spoon race cars?

it was 5100 after shipping, considering i added all the oem parts up and they were more just for the parts...
oem block, crank, rods
JDM r pistons
Spoon head gasket
JDM valve cover and oil filler cap
oem oil pan
Spoon high flow oil pump
JDM R valve train, lost motions, cams
OEM timing belt, water pump, tensioner pulley
balanced and blueprinted to .02 grams, combustion chambers C&C'd
assembled

Flux, I wish spoon did assemble with the yellow valve cover, they only sell separate...

No, though the yellow valve cover is used on some of their race cars, they do not ship them with their longblocks. It's just an "appearance oriented" item that they figured they could make some money on.

Damn thats a steal at the price you paid for it. It would be a lot more if you had to pay someone to assemble all of this for you. The best part is that the motor has 0 miles
