Awww, that's nothing!
At least you can still tell the wheels were (are) white.
BTW -- which pads were those and how easily does it come off?

Precisely.
Cobalt pad dust actually can/does come off rather easily in comparison.
Now, Hawk Blue dust in the rain at LRP will Never come off of my wheels. Ok, it might if I really worked hard at it. Point is that in my experience, that Cobalt pads dust less, and definitely don't stick nearly as permenantly as others like the Hawks, that have an affixed layer on my GM wheels and both flanks of my car.

Kudos, at least you don't seem as pissed as in the past.
And no Flux, I don't necessarily like the look. I just don't have the time to continually clean the car to showroom condition, nor am I in a pleasant enough climate to maintain it as such.

I had a hard time getting the dust off from my GT-R Spec VR's until I tried some Meguiar's Wheel Cleaner, which took it right off. The key is to not let it stay on the wheel too long.

it really doesnt bother me as i have a spare set of clean CW ITR rims, these were just temporary track rims. Im sure the dust will come off if i try to clean it, but the only cleaning my track wheels get is rain and water from the hose while i was the car, no soap or scrubbing
[shakes head because he is Actually going to use the Te37's at the track this year.]
Quit reminding me.
