My revs are pretty much the same in 5th gear, but I thought I had lsd(two wheel burnouts)

Well I bought an S1 but have yet to pick it up. I'm dreading the high RPM highway drives. Fortunately, it's not my only vehicle so if I travel long distances I can take my truck.

I've also got a 90-91 LS transmission so I MAY take that apart and swap the 5th main and counter gears in. Or I may keep the transmission as a spare. We will see.

On a side note...KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE ROAD AND SLOW DOWN!

My tachs a bit off too. Definately a fun tranny for the street, haha, my girl is scared of the highway though. Vtec owns her.

Considering my tach being a bit off, when i shift while racing into second, i usually wait until the needle is at 8k rpm. I get bad grinds sometimes, and just have been pondering, should i shift a little earlier?

Yah, I feel your pain too. S1 owner here. All will be solved with my LS fifth, when I finally get around to putting it in.

I have one of those but .. yeah installation's not gonna happen for a bit; can't afford "250" dollars quoted by another member on this board.
