Wondering what is the best clutch for 225 whp d16 SOHC 1996 Civic, 2 dr coupe, 5sp.
I want something that will grab good and not slip, currently have an ACT stage one thats not cutting it, it cant handle fast shifts and is slipping bad (its not old).
What do you guys recommend? ?
Also, Will the stock flywheel do the job??
Please respond, I need help with this one.
Thanks.

I have a ACT xtreme pressure plate with a hybrid street disc connected to a JUN lightweight flywheel. I have a 93 civic hatch with a sohc vtec pushing 15psi (around 220 - 230hp @ the wheels).
I have no problems what-so-ever..this clutch does *NOT* slip. Its just awesome. I have about 11,000 miles on the clutch now..and when i swapped the motor a little while back the clutch looked new still. And i drive the car very very hard.
The clutch kit is the XTSS (xt = xtreme pressure plate, and ss = heavy duty street disc) and you can order it for about $400....i believe its stage 3 or 4. I dont recommend getting a 4,6 puck...its just too harsh for driving around town.

Yo fock that, get a Clutch Masters Stage 3 buddy. ACT and the other are good, but I think the CM will give you less driveline shock.
