Turbo people: Help me with this DC2 install
Nevermind the duct tape and wire ties, the car is going to the paint shop on Wednesday and I just wanted to make sure everything would mount up right so I can modify it now instead of after having it painted. The head and IM is from an ITR, so the intake pipe is going to have to be changed. Also, I'm not using the extra injectors.
Please look at this and tell me if it's right or I need to change something. Also, the pipe on the right side of the IC is crooked where it connects. Didn't know if this was a concern or not. Thanks

first of all, why did you hack up all of your radiator support for the jdm conversion?
Secondly, id extend the charge pipe from the turbo to the driver side of the IC

I hacked it up only because it was bent up real bad. It had nothing to do with the clip swap. JDM Inc sent me a f$#ked up clip that was worthy of a junk yard.
The way you installed them are correct, but that crooked pipe on the driver side will not hold during boost. If you have a short stubby pipe lying around i suggest you connect it to your intercooler with the silicone, then connect the charge pipe to that stubby pipe. Easy fix
Cool. Thanks for the input. I wonder if FMAX would have the piping that I could buy. If not, I could have my future father-in-law (that clipped the car, and built the cage) to make new piping when the motor is dropped in. I'm really just wanting to know if I should cut the inside of the bumper or not. The way it sits now, the bumper hasn't been cut.

Heres how mine looks on a USDM front end.
Your IC pipes can come out alot further on the sides. They should come out even and parrellel from the FMIC ends and just wrap around the shell in front of the wheel.
