Default Climate control lights don't work

my lights on my climate control ***** in my 96 ex (the ones with the temperature and fan speed) don't light up anymore. All other dashboard lights work. However, if I hit the top of my dash just right, I can make them come on for awhile. Anyone have this experience? I'm thinking it's not a fuse, unless a fuse only controls those two ***** (which doesn't make sense to me). What should I try?

If you can hit the dash and they come on its a bad connection. You will need to remove the panel and get behind the controls and find out where the bad connection is and replace it.

my 1990 LX does the same thing. I'm positive it's just a loose lighting connection inside the HVAC controls. Never bothered me enough to take it apart and fix it though. Changing all the 5 burned out dash light bulbs a couple years ago was a pain in the ***.
