What would be better for a 95 accord ....205/45/17 or 215/45/17? I'm just worried that the 215's will rub.

The 215/45 will give you a little more meat on the ground not to mention a little taller side wall for the potholes of america

215s for me--they work just fine--depends on if you are lowering or lowered your car too

215's won't on a normal drop. 205's just look to skinny for the 17's. I would recommend the 215/45/17

how much of drop you talking about?

you might want to think about the strength of the sidewall if you into road/autox

thanks for the replies guys. I hope the 215/45/17 wont rub if I drop the car with neuspeed sports. I remember that my 205/55/15 tires would rub my sidewall on my 92 accord when i turned the wheel all the way to the right. I hope i wont have that problem the next time around

Sorry for being ignorant, but these sizes are all for a 17x7 size wheel, right?

no body use 215/40/17???

i was just about to get tires for my 94 EX with koni yellow/Neuspeed Race slammed, so i thought i should run 215/40/17 instead of 45 coz of the taller tires might rub......any suggestion?

I picked up 215/45/17 Kuhmo 711's this summer on my 94 accord ex lowered with Neuspeed sport springs. Not a single rub thus far.

The 215/45's just look meaner. 205 is only 1 cm wider than stock ex rims.

Yea I just ordered my Racing Hart C5's today and got 215/45/17's so I can have a little more tire between the rims and the road.

I tried 215 but they rubbed because my car is lowered 3 inches.

i am currently using 215/45 on my 17x7.5's and have no issues with rubbing...my next set of tires will be either 225/45 with a 10-15mm spacer or 235/45 with a 25mm spacer...i like my tires thick
