rust?

Default rust?

sup guys...
I own an 88 crx si and it got some rust. is it worth it to fix up the rust? i bought the car for 600$

if you fix it, replace the whole rear quarter panel-I didn't do that the first time I got my car painted, and the rust came back to haunt me. If you don't care and don't want to spend the money, I wouldn't worry about it then-assuming you already passed inspection.

i personally just got rid of my rex and one way to retard the rust is to take the rubber molding off from inside the fenders, it helped me.

most are in the door jams, under the plastics, and wheel wells.

Yeah well those are the expected trouble areas, most crxs have tons of rust in unseen places, find out how much each panel is going to cost to fix or to buy and use that as the deciding factor.

if your going to kill the rust go to a paint store and buy this stuff called rust mort i used it on my crx and spilled some on the ground and the **** started sizziling just dont get it on you.

Yeah, they're not kidding when they say dont get that stuff on your hands!! it DOES NOT come off, short of sanding your skin.
