Default Differences/Advantages between "Rigid" and "pillow ball" type upper mounts?

What are the differences? and which is better...performance wise? Im considering Zeal B6, or Apexi N1-pro spec, or Buddy club coilovers... any other suggestions?

I know the Zeal B6s have an aluminum rigid upper mount, and the Apexi's come with Pillow ball mounts... Im not sure about the Buddy club Racing specs...(not the P1s, they are way out of my price range!) Comments? suggestions? Beer?

I wouldn't use pillow ball mounts for daily driving, unless the roads are all fairly smooth. I drive freeways all day, and my teins are a bit too stiff for it, even on the softest setting. This is w/stock mounts. They are usually more for road racing where comfort is 2nd. If you do road race, than might as well. If you do decide on pillow type or whatever make sure to tighten the nut down that holds it all together. Friend had some pillow mounts, and the nut backed out. If you want a similar effect, just get some poly bushings. It's not as harsh on you, nut it's harder than stock bushings.

The B6 is also available with the adj pillow mount, too, but its more money. I recommend just sticking with the alum std mounts. The B6 is a beautiful system, too. I will be placing this on my EG unless I like the new Buddy Club setup better.
