Default radiator pipe/hose leak

there is coolant leaking at the end of the hose in the pictures (circled in yellow). Ive had a lot of people tellin me that I need to get a new hose clamp that has a screw in it so it would tighten the hose better. I got the clamp now. When removing the stock clamp, will coolant or water flow out??? I will leave the car overnight before I attempt this but need to know for sure. Will this be easy to do? thanks.

btw, what is that pipe/hose/tube called? its the one that goes from the radiator to the engine.

make sure your car is off... let the damn thing be cold you dont want to get shot with hot coolant. unclamp your radiator hose replace the clamp... and ya there will be some spillage. looks like you have plenty of hose so if that doesnt work you might want to cut the end on the one youre using if you can... but dont do it first

its also a good idea to drain the cooling system, or you can remove the radiator cap, remove an end of the hose and let drain into a drain pan. this is if you need to replace a bad radiator hose.

Yea if you haven't drained the cooling system now is a good time. I believe its called the main radiator hose or top RH. Anyway in my experiences the use of plumbers pliers help out due to the hose being on there really good helps to turn the hose back and forth back and forth to help loosen it, but be careful to to scratch up your temperature housing and radiator housing too. And if you don't have a chiltons please pick one up (this job is really easy but chiltons is where its at if you want to work on your car). GL bro

I just finished changing the clamp today. It took about 10 minutes. I placed a little bucket underneat the radiator hose so when I pulled it off, the coolant spilled into the bucket. no coolant was leaking when I removed the stock clamp. I had to wiggle the hose a little bit to remove it from the housing. placed new clamp on and tighten it back into housing. refilled the radiator and I was done.
