You'll make yourself a nice b20vtec. But you might want to get a port and polish on the head, so it will have a higher flow.

raise compression either with forged pistons milling your head or gsr head and you will see your number raise even higher be more specific in this thread

my friend has a b20vtec EK civic, motor is worked tho, bottom to top, the thing pulls harder than type-r, he has a gsr tranny on it now and is gonna throw on a type r, we have had that thing goin over 155.. the thing is nuts, i would definitely do a b20vtec but becareful with it, dont rev over 8 for hte first 1000 miles yada yada ya... i would def. do it if i had the cash

A stock B20B/Z block is very prone to snap rod bolts when revved above 7,000 RPM. Don't think that with a stock block you can revv like your motor CAME with VTEC. Very common mistake.

it also has very weak cylinder walls, i would consider sleeving...

I wouldn't just consider sleeving, I'd make it a necessity. Also, the rod/stroke ratio isn't particularly good, so high revving isn't recommended without serious work.
