i ordered my spoon mirrors from jdmshit.com for an EG for my ef...i know a few kids on here did this..could someone do a write up on exactly how they fabricated them to fit?....i dont want to start hacking at them and then waste my time & money.

I used the TYC mirrors since they were only $30.00 and mine came out just as good if not better than some of the others.

What I used for the bases was a rectangular oil drip pan (black plastic of course) and cut out the top of it and made two triangles out of that material with a dremel.
The reason all of this took me 5 hours was because all I had to work with was a screwdriver and a dremel borrowed from a friend. I also had to walk back and forth to the parking lot cut and fit cut and fit to get it right.

A write up, nah I think that's all you need. How-to's are a cheap way out of DIY projects.

I also used a bit of black silicone just to sure water didn't leak into my car.

 

or you could have just bought the spoon ef mirrors.

ya i know you can get the real spoon and the TYC and the vision and all that but i already ordered my spoon ones from jdmshit.com for the EG...thats why i need the write for that

 

Dude, why the **** didnt you buy the ef mirrors? Do you not have an EF?

 

bc i dont feel like spending over 200 for the visions or the spoons...i rather get the spoon style for $40 from like urbanimport.com....the one's they make for the EF by companies like autodynamic are not the same they stick out about a quarter of an inch off the plate..there not flush like the others
