my friend is selling a s2000 tb to me for a good price, but are they the same as a ITR tb?? and will it bolt up? t ahnks

please elaborate? my friend has it and he guarantees me that it will bolt up to a b-series manifold.

 

I have heard that they are the same but I have never tried it.

 

I am just taking a guess but wouldn't the sensors be different.

n e body else?? one thing i noticed on the S2000 tb is that instead of the Fast idle valve on the bottom of the throttle body, the S2000 tb only has two water outlets. one going in.. one going out. I dont think it would matter.. but n e body else chime in on this? thanks

 

I have one sitting here. Perfect condition with all sensors. I might that it to the Fl BBQ with me for a lil bit of tech!

Same as itr, the only difference is the tps is angled differently. Also use the S2k TB gasket. Tested and proven.

 

anybody have any idea on how to bolt a non GSR throttle body on a gsr intake manifold. I know the pulleys are upside down on a gsr, but that's not the problem. On the gsr throttle body, there are threads to bolt the bracket so that the throttle cable has something to bolt on to. But on this s2000 throttle body it doesnt. Anybody have n e idea on how to make it work with a gsr intake manifold? or di i have to wait to install a skunk2 intake manifold b4 i install this tb.

 

S2k bolts on perfectly fine to the ITR.

i had a 70mm overbored s2k on my b16a with itr manifold...i didn't like it.
