Anybody ever installed cam shaft by themself?
With the head on the car or off?
Off the car it is very easy.
On the car, the cam is easy but the springs and retainers are a pia

we have this tool that u take out the plugs and hook it up to a compressor, it fills the combustion chamber with air and hold the valves up so you dont have to take off the head. it works great. just dont know what its called. sold by snap on

it isnt that hard, if you know how to work on cars....
i dont know if it can be done in car, i havent found a valve spring compressor that works on h series that goes from top only.
