Good set of Rotors for the R
I currently had the spoon rotors, but due to crappy aem pads they glazed the crap out of them. I had to get them re-surfaced and the guy didn't cut them evenly. I was looking into the brembo cross-drilled but there kinda pricey. I'm gonna be doing a couple track day events this month and was wondering what I should get. According to TireRack, the Brembo slotted wont work so well on the track... If you'd drop a line I'd apreciate it.. Oh yea.. I'm not a trial user.. I use to have a username but somehow I cannot log into it.. I'm not a newbie!!! hahah

I recently replaced mine with cobalt rotors, and they are great for the price.

I agree.
The cheaper the better with rotors, IMO. I thought the Cobalts had a much better construction than Autozones, and are similarly priced. I'll probably never use another rotor.

How much are the Cobalt blanks? I get my autozone rotors for $17 each, and they have a 3 month warranty. They used to come with a 6 month warranty until we all started abusing the policy.

Where?
The last set I got were $24. a piece. This is in Uber Exclusive and stupidly overpriced NY though.
I tend to like the Centric one's that Andy sells. Nice blanchard grind, better finish, that cute little bolt hole to remove them easier when melted on, and the venting looks more effective. Lord knows how I need more venting.

I just called autozone in Yonkers and they quoted me $40.00 per rotor for blanks
WTF? How did you get them for $24 Anton, and how did Batoutahell get them for $16?

just keep using your autozone's unless you find a problem with them.. cobalts and brembos are quite a bit more..

Opie, they are the same as whatever year Prelude front rotors (obviously drank too much in Vegas, forgot which year.) But, if you care, go online here: http://www2.autozone.com/servl...ePage and look them up yourself.
There's 2 big things you must worry about/do yourself when buying parts from Autozone/Advanced/whatever big name BS auto parts store:
1) you must research your parts and prices Personally!
&
2) and you must Never listen to what the idiot sales person says on the phone or in person for that matter.
Use the site above and check near me, Pougkeepsie/Newburgh (where I got mine.)
We could do it 2 ways, you could come up and we could go for a ride, or I could just pick them up and you could meet me halfway or at an event or whatever.
Here's a breakdown:
http://www2.autozone.com/servl...FRONT
You can get an Aimco for $24.99, or a Valucraft that weren't available when I shopped there for $18.99. (Most likely the ones that batoutahell got for a few bucks less since he is Not in overpriced NY.)
