Default are civic and integra struts the same?

i got a 94+ integra, and i'm looking to switch back to stock suspension. my question is if there is any differences between the struts of different models, ie. 92-95 civics and 94+ integras, like how there is different spring rates for civic/integras. i can only find civic struts locally, so i'm wondering if that will be fine if i pair it up with the integra springs. or should i just keep looking for integra struts?

Shocks, not struts. And yes, there were slight differences between the setups for most of the different models and some of the submodels. A good many of them are interchangable though.

Most aftermarket oe replacement shocks for the integra are the same as the ones for the civics. Not sure about the springs. Check out autozone.com or one of the other auto parts retailers and you can see the part numbers for the shocks and whether or not they are the same for your particular year.

the shocks should fit, but I'm not sure if they will last the same as the O.E.M. replacements.

well, i'm looking to replace them with oem ones. i guess what i mostly want to know is if the damper of the shocks are the same between models of civics and integras. i don't want to put oem civic shocks on my car and have the ride too soft or something.

Based on some looking around online, it seems that the EG Civic uses the exact same aftermarket shocks as the DC2. I know the OEM civic shocks will fit, but I am not sure they have the exact same proporties as the Integra shocks.

However, I am pretty sure that even if they do have slightly different dampening, etc that it won't make a difference. The 99-00 Civic Si uses the same shock as the DX-EX models. There was certainly a weight difference between the 2 cars, but they did not feel the need to equip the Si with different shocks because of it. So, that said, you should be fine with Civic shocks.
