ok here the deal .. i bought a 2001 usdm b18c1 ... i currently have the original 1998 d16y8 in my car... i am getting everything ready to swap out my motor this spring and now i am looking at a wiring harness cause my b series doesnt have 1... ( i got the motor and tranny from a junk yard with only 14 k on it for 2200) well anyway my question is exactly how different are the harnesses for these to motors?? how much modding will my presnet harness need to fit this motor?? i searched but nothing to definitive... thanx in advance

i think most people use the wiring harness off of there stock motor. thats what i did with my gsr swap. just add run the extra wires for vtec and secondaries and knock sensor to your ecu.
