will it run if the intake cam is advanced 1 notch on a h22a. would it help it or hurt it ? how much timing advance can it take with out ping?

 

Yes it will run.

help it... maybe depends on tuning

hurt it ... probebly not but you never know without a dyno

If you want to advance timing just adjust the distributer acordingly (with a dyno tune session of course)

 

when you say 1 notch, do you mean 1 tooth on the timing belt or 1 degree on a cam gear?? Cause 1 tooth on a belt is a lot of advance!
