if it gets to the point that you cant do anything, gather all his info (most of it should be on the box they came in) like his return address. and contact his local police

I don't think you can take it to the police because it came scratched and dinged. It's not like he straight up stole your money. All you can do is to talk it out with him and dish out negative feedback.

get his personal info from ebay and call him to see if you can work it out.

if not then call his local police to see what can be done. see if ebay has a policy for froudulent goods. i got some money back for an ecu that i bought and never received. i called the guy numerous times and he gave me bullshit excuses then finally wouldnt answer the phone anymore. i was told by a friend that he could get me for harrassment if i called anymore so i just got money back from ebay. if you cant find anything on ebays site let me know and ill find it again for you...but i dont know what the policy is for if you actually recieve something.

i never called his police cause hes got your personal info also... so i got $13 back from my $46 investment (ebay takes $25 and doesnt reimburst for shipping), and i just post his info everywhere call him and tell him how much you hate scammers!

Dont even think about shipping them back without getting your money back first.

Youd be an absolute idiot to even send them to a different address because that definetely sounds like some sort of a scam.

Definetely fight through ebay and they will make him reembourse you and if you lose that just keep the rims and paint them or something.

Just dont listen to him. Maybe if he sends the money back first and youre ok with the rims keep 150 bucks and send the rest back to him and say **** off

It doesn't say they are brand new. He also used a generic pic for the auction. Did you even ask him to send you actual pics of the rims?

Also, why the hell is this in EF forum anyway??? MODS: please move this!

You should have contacted him first. Then you could have got a definite answer before the auction ended and proof that either he said they had some damage or they didn't. I don't suggest the COD idea because you will be out the money you paid for the shipping if he refuses the COD. Honestly, if they are in terrible condition I would call the police and ask them what you should do. If they are in good condition with a few minor flaws I would suck it up and keep them. That's just me. Also, if insurance was purchased and he actually insured the package/s then the shipping company should cover the damage. Whatever you do, don't ship them back without getting your money back first.

well, it does say "practically new". And it does not sound like you think they are THAT bad...just you thought they were new and they are not. Would the scratches be consistant with used wheels in good condition? That is what I would have expected to get....

Also, why would you not trust the fact that he will refund you after you send the wheels back? You trusted him when you sent the money in the first place. And he is willing to reimburse you for them....seems fair enough to me. Why would he credit you before getting the wheels back?
