I went out to Hawks Nest yesterday to test out the C-pillar bar/camera mount I made the other day. I had my digital camera mounted to it, and it stayed steady even though I only had a piece of bike tire tube under the CF mount. The roads were all salty, and there was a decent amount of traffic, so I didn't go crazy. I just wanted to see how it worked out....

It was a last minute thing. My gf followed me up there and we just had luch and chilled up there for a ltlle while. You didnt miss anything. We need some rain to get rid of all the salt before fun can be had on these roads. I'll call you next time I go Ryan. Maybe we can get some headz going

 

those roads up there are pretty sick. I know of another one that leads to the Nest and its just as sick and longer

its no joke. to the left it drops about 500 feet straight down shear rock cliff like whoa.

 

that road is sweet my father used to take me up there on his motorcycle

Yeah, it doesnt move at all. Ihave a better camera, but The batteries were dead. So I used my 5.0 Sony DSC-F707 instead. Its a badass still camera, but video gets a

Yeah tell me about it. I love the Nest. Me and my friends would do a little driving there every Wed. morning (usually between 2-4am). There are pretty sick driving roads in the Orange Co area (It makes living here worthwhile)

 

2 and 4am! thats just a little to late to be driving fully coherent for me. The sound must carry for miles at night. I hope alcohol isnt involved in that, because thats usually what I'm doing between those times when I have the next day off.
I dont know about that road making it worthwhile to live in O.C.

I usually get off work @1:30-2am and there is not any alcohol involved in that . You have to admit we have some of the best driving roads in OC. It makes it somewhat worthwhile to live in the Boonies (than and the fact it is a relatively low crime area).

I suggest a little higher quality, multiple camera angles and a little more aggressive/risky driving you would have the first ITR commercial in the US
