I need advice about my Transmission ASAP
For those that dont already know, yesterday, my transmission made its last normal shift. Its official now, I need to replace it. I have a 4th gen accord sedan AUTO.
I have 3 choices:
1) Replaces with junkyard tranny and pray it will last. Cost: $850
2) Replaces with recently rebuilt tranny. Cost: $1000
3) Rebuild my tranny with genuine Honda parts. Cost: 1400

i think you should go with a basic, functional one...no need spending extra $$ on a new tranny when you can get a perfectly working one for cheaper...go to a shop and ask them to find you a used, functional one and to replace it...
thats the one of the choices. Of coure I wont buy a new one, but if I just buy a junked tranny, I dont know if Ill need a new one in a week. Just choose 1,2, or 3.
