I'm lookin' to do some serious customizing in the trunk of my '93 DS. Anyone know where I can find some schematics or plans of the trunk? Maybe something from honda, rather detailed with measurments and all...anyone help me out?

 

 

That'll do I suppose, adn thanks. Would you happen to have any that have measurements? precision measuring is obviously important to avoid "jimmy rigging" it. anyhting with emasurements?

 

I doubt there's a website with measurements of the dimensions since the Del Sol hasn't been manufactured for about, what, 6 years? If you have the car, go measure it yourself...that's an easy solution. Maybe we can help you more if you tell us what kind of customizing you're planning on, i.e., inside of the trunk, outside, etc.

 

I do custom fiberglass work for show cars. Audio, dashboard, door panels,etc. If your in northern cali, hit me up, I have great prices if your car is a clean jdm ride, i charge extra for rice cars....j/k

 

The Del Sol isn't mine, I'm not stupid enough to purchase a car like that... LS1 - WS6 Trans Am 6 speed for me... ANYHOW.. The car is a friend of mine's, it's clean, and in great shape, however, we're in Indiana..and don't have the time for a raod trip right now. Custom trunk audio for subs is what I'm looking to do, some kind of fancy looking full trunk for a 12 inch, and a 1000 amp. I've got a good idea for the amp in a plexiglass, fan vented case, non-permiable tint, cut out to view the amp through the JL AUDIO logo that's clear. maybe a neon glow, it's all up in the air right, just ideas... let me know if you've got any.

Why would you be stupid to purchase a Del Sol ??? This is Honda-Tech, not amateur installer tech, so its not cool to clown Hondas and what does having an LS1-WS6 prove ??? Try 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Am #866, slow poke ! Anyways, you should take a more hands on approach when customizing trunk space, Car Audio Magazine highly recommends it.
