i just noticed a car that just got purchaced has sap/pitch from a tree on it. any suggestions on how to remove it with chemicals without hurting paint?

 

There are two ways that I have done this in the past.
1. Get adhesive remover and try your best to rub it out.
2. If you are talented with a razor blade then you can get it off with that. (Warning if you scratch the paint on your car dont get mad at me lol)
