i think someone on here did it i remember reading about it.. try searching for it

 

get the 96-98 jdm ones they look better they flow with the car much better then 99-00 ones would IMHO. but never seen it done so i have no basis for that opinion. but im sure it can be/has been done

 

I'm sure you could do it with enough cutting and fabrication, but the contour of the 96-98 bumpers is slightly different from the 99-00s (at least that's the conclusion I came to by seeing them beside one another).
