I agree, when you mod a car beyond no return, it better be your baby and you should drive it until it dies when you do something stupid in it. Most likely get more out of it if you kept it for parts.

Whats that suppose to mean? And the car can be returned to stock it is no where near beyond. Shaved side moldings? considered beyond returnable? thats an easy junkyard item.
Was already offered 2600. But Im not in the market to sell it. Plus I bought it for a price I wouldnt lose money out of. Just lookin at a price range.

edited: very difficult to sell primered
it's 14 years old LX chassis, automatic, drum rears with close to 200k. Why are you upset at the value ppl are throwing out?
Regardless of the lower mile engine (questionable given the honesty of most engine sellers - hell THEY don't know, they (under) estimate), would YOU buy your car when you can score a 94+ Accord for ~$3.5k?
You car's not depreciating though so that's a good thing. You can't get below ~1.2-1.5k for a decent running / decent looking car.
EDIT: From someone else's post, I realized your car is primed.
Value = $1.2-1.4 k LA w/ little rust
Basically, your parts are worth more than the car.

It is worth next to nothing IMO......it is spray can'd primer, which must ALL come off in order to lay a nice coat of paint on there. That was where you went wrong.

In the engine code F means SOHC and H means DOHC. So which is it? If it's an F20A then it should be SOHC, and not DOHC. If I'm wrong then someone correct me.

Well they do make a F series in a DOHC i believe but if you go in the garage I have a JDM F20A siting next to the bikes and you can see its SOHC..

The car is getting painted (as I stated in the list. Gunmetal). And by any means im not upset at all. Where did you get the idea that I was upset?. I posted this up to see what price I could ask for, when its ready to sell. This isnt a useless post to me. It actually giving me feedbacks.
The car is a DOHC f20a. The motor was purchased at a local motor shop last month and they told me it had 65K or less and I only put 2k on it. But I just went ahead and put 70k.

Do you think HOnda made a DOHC and SOHC that were both tagged F20A? Just curious

exactly...maybe some better pics would help out too

NTM if you want to do the manny conversion there are tons of write ups and most parts can be found in a junk yard. GL (or you could sell me it for 2K and I will keep the motor and boost it
)

not true about the F and H series meaning sohc and dohc.
there is the dohc f22b from jdm/euro 92-96 preludes, and there is a dohc f20a that came in the Accord 2.0si, 4th gen only i believe. trust me, i've seen them up close
again off topic, but single cam, what timing belt did you use for the dohc f20a?

in primered current condition: probably about 1500
in painted condition w/the jdm motor...probably about 2500 or so
maybe more to an import enthusiast
