Since i got some new meats, i decided to just clean up my wheels, polished the lips and paint the wheels. Here are a few pics of my cbr and my bros rc51.

GREAT looking F3. Why red wheels? Is it to match the grips? Or are you planning on some red in the bodywork later?

Nevermind, I posted before I saw the pics.

Looks good. I like the F3 more than the RC. But I'm biased just a bit.

If you don't mind, I don't know much about motorcycles and I was wondering how much a bike like one of those would cost you

cute decal on the rc51. I don't understand why neither of you has matching tires. You have a dunlop up front and your brother has one on the rear. Assuming its a 180 and your front is 65 or 70 why don't you guys just trade so one has a matching set...

its all about preference. My bro likes to run the dunlop rear. I wanted to try something different. So I tried the sportec. We both like the 208 front, so on his next swap thats prolly what he will do. I wish i could fit his tire on my ride. He rolls a 190 rear right now! I can only fit a 160 max!

just depends. a cbr can put you back 2500-3500 an rc51 can put you back 6500-8000.

nice F3!
i'm going to take a look at a '98 F3 tomorrow morning and if all is well it'll be mine
only problem i know of right now is it needs paint on the rear fender and front upper fairing. how much did that paint job set you back?
another possible problem is that it seems too good to be true it's from a dealer and they're asking for only 3 grand. no specifics on the mileage and title.

3 grand isnt a bad price.. Too good to be true?? nah!
we only paid 200 for paint. Paint is cheap for bikes. you just need to take off the fairings. rear fender is cheap.. let me know.. i have 2 extra left rear fairings (i think) .. the front may be hard to find and kind of expensive. let us know how it goes!

haha... so i went to the place and turns out it was some warehouse, kinda looked like a chop shop. i just didn't get a good vibe from that place, plus they only accept cash. well when i got there, someone had JUST purchased it. i asked about it and turns out it had a salvage title. there was another bike they had for dirt cheap, 2001 cbr f4i, but that also had a salvage title.
well, after looking for over a month and visiting about 6 dealerships, i finally found her! champion honda/yamaha in costa mesa, ca had an '03 yamaha yzf 600r going for $5500 but the dealer thought it was an '02 so i was able to get the price down to $4700. when signing the dmv papers, according to the VIN it was an '03! the dealer simply said, "hey! good for you! you just saved another $700" instead of adjusting the price again. they had AWESOME customer service, highly recommended all the other dealerships simply ignored me when i would walk around for 15 minutes, not even a "hi"
