Default what kind of dyno??180hp with bolt ons on a b18c1!!!

i was surprised when my brother's gsr made 180 hp and 124 t,with :
iceman intake
skunk 2 im.
dc 4-1 non jdm
test pipe
dc exhaust
ignition at 18*
gas pressure at 45 psi

i think that it is too much power for a b18c1 with bolt ons, what do you think??

It's a Mustang dyno. The only valid comparisons would be to other cars who have dyno'd on the same dyno. So unless you can get a graph of another car who has dyno'd there, we can't give any input.

Although I'd have to say those do seem high. Mustang dyno's generally read lower.

I don't have any first hand track time vs. dyno number experience, but with 180 whp, shouldn't those times be closer to mid 14's? I'm not sure about this though, and if your brother is really making that much whp with those little mods, that's great!

i was thinking that it possible to run mid to low 14 s in my brother's gsr with 2.0 60ft. times, maybe some nitto tires would help, but some people tell me that the kumho victor racer perform better.

those numbers seem too high for a GSR motor w/ bolt-ons, especially w/ the weak exhaust setup it has. The trap speed on the 1/4 mile time is the same as my 14.4 run w/ basically the same mods, i think the numbers are exageratted.

It's a Mustang dyno. That's how the graphs usually look like. Does anyone read my posts?

Well that trap speed is a 95 mph. I trap between 92 and 94 with 156 whp. Maybe that's flywheel hp??

That number sure does look high. Especially for those mods.

Check this out: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=771356

If you compare the modded ITR and GS-R with your GS-R with Bolt-ons, you either have a very VERY strong motor, or something is weird?

Integra Type-R with:

AEM Cai, JDM 4-1 header, SMSP testpipe, Apex N1 exhaust, RC 310 injectors, Hondata S200, Skunk2 stage 1 cams and cam gears.

Made - 179.5 wHP & 129.1 lbs Torque

Integra GS-R with:

AEM Cai, JDM 4-1, JDM R cat and exhaust, RC 440 injectors, Hondata S200, Skunk2 IM, stock throttle body bored to 64mm (to match manifold), Hondata manifold gasket, Skunk2 stage 1 cams and cam gears, Portflow inner springs, ITR outers and titanium retainers.

Made - 180.1 wHP & 127.5 lbs Torque
