Default Clicking sound from tweeter when car is on

There is a clicking sound from my right front tweeter only when my car is on. The sound is isolated to that tweeter. What would cause this. Is the tweeter grouned on the chasis somewhere? Is the tweeter bad?

If it is only making it when the engine is on , you have a bad ground.

Check your ground, if that fails check the routing of your RCA's or speaker wire

Ya it only happens when the car is on but it also only happens in 1 tweeter. I have already checked the ground for the amp and it seems fine.

could also be bad connection at your powered end of the amp going to the speaker, check your connections. my tweeter was actually fading out on mine, until i double checked all my connections and got some moisture out of my door panel where the X over is.

make sure when installing your wires you didn't pull on the wire around a sharp piece of metal and wear the sheathing through. just a thought.
