how much would u pay for this type r!!!
just curious, if i was to sell my type r how much do u think ill get for it. 98 type r mint condition with 17,000 miles. mods are koni shocks with h+r springs, jdm headers with jdm cat, and ctr intake cam. car is in perfect condition.
Are you the first owner? I'd have to speak in person to the seller before ever making an offer on a car. If you have records, don't seem like the type of person that would beat the hell out of it, and the car was mint, I'd venture to say as high as $19,500.
Does the CTR cam make a noticable difference? Just wondering.
BTW, if you have original parts, slap them on, then sell it.

Personally I would pay more if there's no CTR cams in there. Internal mod is the last thing I want to see in a used car - doesn't matter how mint it is.

What he said with the first owner deal. Spending that much money for anything requires a careful look at it. If you manage to live in Elizabeth, NJ with a 98 ITR with only 17k miles. That's really something. Then again, if its also been garaged the whole time, anything is possible. Myself, I'd probably venture to say 18.5 or so. Was the CTR cam worth it?

I can't believe that you live in Elizabeth, NJ and you haven't gotten the car stolen yet!!!
Keep in mind, it's a 5-year old car now. Yes, it's extremely low mileage, but 18-19k is still extremely reasonable.

Around $17k at the most. I love the 98 and the CW, but you also have to factor in the area you live in. Rust is prone, and someone looking at the car for long term will steer awake if they were from another area (like here in the south).
Good luck gee!

agree remember a car is only worth what someone is willing to pay!
And I personally would not pay that high ITR or NOT

You haven't been paying attention to the prices that 98's have been going for.
18K max. Most go for less. No one cares about mods, they really only decrease value or keep it the same.

If it was completely stock, max $20k... but most likely $18-19k. I think the mods in your car hurts your case for a "mint" '98 CW ITR.. and $17-18k sounds fair

KBB is bullshit-(@least when it comes to a car like the ITR or any other "collectors/enthusitist" spell? CAR)--they don't care about factoring in that they don't make the damn thing anymore. 18k miles on a car like that is AWESOME!!! I would have payed $19k easy for that one(3 mths ago)! Granted its a Northern car(rust/snow etc) but damn so is mine
!! Thats awesome!!!!
I'd say 19 Easy.(back to stock)
