what size pipe/resonator for type R muff setup??
i have a type R oem muffler that needs its tip and axleback section cut off due to an accident. I want to have it hung under there but not sure what size pipe and resonator, if resonator at all, I should hook up.
What do you guys suggest? I am looking for something fairly quiet and am not overly concerned with power, so I was thinking 2.25 inch pipe. I didnt want to go with a resonator because it hangs lower and is the lowest part of the car and susceptible to catchin on speed bumps.
Thanks for any ideas

Without a resonator your exhaust is going to be loud. No 2 ways about it. Get the longest resonator you can fit in there.
EDIT: Depending on your motor setup I would either go with 2.25 or a 2.5 inch exhaust piping.
