Hood from wrecker painted and bolted up
How much would you pay a shop to locate a hood and paint and mount it? Mine is dented from a dude falling onto it (dont ask
). I could always get the hood myself and bring to the shop, is that worth the time in comparison to the extra cost a shop may charge for locating one? Thanx for any help guys

Hey man, hit and runs are not cool, no matter how much money the guy owes you. Stop using your car as a weapon.
If you can locate the hood, why not just do that and take it to a shop strictly for painting. It does not seem especially difficult to install a hood (although, I have not had the need to do so myself). The less work you have the shop do, the less money it costs you. Labor = $$$.
Just a thought, good luck with the hood, watch out for fallling dudes.

i just wonder that when i bring the shop a hood, it will prolly need work like bondo, filler whatever anyways, so they could just repair my hood that is on the car if thats the case. Guess I should make some phone calls and see whats up. Thnx for the reply man
