search didn't help. 88 Crx si won't rev pass 3k. throwing a code4. pls help!
i checked my helms guide and it says crank angle sensor. anyone here ever encountered a code 4. i suspect the problem is distributor related. pls. help!

yah, everything is plugged in. and the motor is the stock d16a6.

Checked your timing with a timing gun? Your belt could be off a tooth or more. I would start there, then if all is ok and your belt is aligned correctl check out the distributor.

i literally just gto done with my mpfi zc swap (91 crx dx) and i had a code 4.with mine,its diffrent, my pins on the ecu weren't swapped correctly another problem was code 10,2 plugs were reversed and my timing was retarded 1 tooth, its all fixed, me and boostedb20vtec got all the bugs worked out except for the tps but it still runs pretty good.
