Default Tranny keeps loosing OIL

I've done everything. I've changed all the plugs "drain and fill" also changed the the rubbers that go in the tranny hole where the safts plugs in "forgot the proper name" i also eve chaged my passenger side drive shaft thinking it may help. oil is only on the passenger side,


i'm still loosing oil and no aparent cracks anywhere. stupid 5th gear pops out when i run low. driving me nuts.

Cable trany is a Y1 LSD

It is called tranny seals....Did you change out both of them? There is one on the driver side and the other is on the passenger side....Also be very careful when installing these...the slightest dent on any of these seals will result in a leak...I would recommend you to clean off the oil and drive it around the block and check it again to see where its comin from...

my vote goes to check your axle seals. Seal that seperates the axle from tranny.

i change the seals and even yesterday i changed the driveshaft. no apparent cracks anywhere.

Is the tranny losing all the oil? If you have to much oil it can leak until it is at the proper level.
