I want to do fuel cutoff where is the best most convieient place to tap pump power
basically the title says it all i have a 95 Prelude and I am about to do a silly audio install besides the mostly bolt on performance stuff I can see the car as a HoTT target so im natrally worried
Mmmm, lets discuss it online here so a thief can come and read it and steal out cars because they know exactly where thefuel cutoff switch is.
Purchase a helms manual, or pull off your back seat and start there. Get the wire color and look for it in a harness going to the rear.
I have a Honda Service manual for my year Vtec Prelude Its Black and pretty thick maybe 1000 pages so i guess i should be able to find it inside. I plan on using 2 40A relays Do you have any idea the current draw for a fuel pump ? thanks for asll the help so far
a98tegLS you dont have a clue to what we are even talking about . The whole point is to hide the momentary switch so no one should be able to even imagine where it is or even that it exists But thanks for playin

I have seen the current usage map for the walbro gss342. It was between 10-17 amps depending on pressure and flow. That pump supports 500 hp. So I think your relays should be safe on the stock pump.
